A friend or family member is able to collect your Race Pack on your behalf by presenting a copy of your Registration Confirmation and ID details.
No. But don’t worry, there is plenty of space to ensure that the start line is managed safely for everybody. Those that wish to be nearer the front of the start line should arrive earlier.
Yes, there are pacers for the 42KM and 21KM race distances.
TWINCITY® MARATHON is a ‘rain-or-shine’ event, but if extreme weather does occur, then the event will be postponed until it is safe to continue. Please follow instructions provided by the Race Officials.
At the Start Area, mineral water will be available. At the Aid Stations and Finish Line, mineral water, isotonic drinks and bananas will be available. There will also be a hot food snack for all finishers.
Yes, a baggage service is available. Runners are advised to carry as little as possible to the Event, and to refrain from leaving valuables within their baggage as much as possible.
For TIMED runners (42KM, 21KM, 12KM) you will be able to access your official race time after the event on the results page of our website.

No, pets are not allowed during any part of the event.
Yes, feel free to wear fancy dress; you’ll brighten up somebody’s day!
No, these are all strictly prohibited, for the safety of all participants.
For the safety of all wheelchair participants, we are only able to allow wheelchair entries for the 5KM category. Please contact the organiser, if you require any additional information.
The 42KM, 21KM, 12KM and 5KM distances all have strict cut-off times that are designed for the safety of runners:
Runners who do not meet the checkpoint cut-off times, will be removed from the race and transferred back to the Finish area by bus.
Runners who finish after the respective cut-off times will not be eligible for a Finisher’s T-shirt (42KM & 21KM), Finisher’s medal or Finisher’s e-certificate.
First aid stations will be located at the Start and Finish areas, as well as every 2.5km along the race routes. Emergency Response Vehicles will be located along the race routes.
Yes. But parents/guardians are allowed running behind (after START) to accompany their children/wards during the run.
