What Does Mobile Medical Response Do?
Mobile Medical Response is a dedicated team of volunteer runners with accredited medical training deployed in the running field. You will run at assigned paces to provide proactive surveillance and immediate first aid.
Active Surveillance & Safety Pacing
Run alongside participants in assigned pacing groups, keeping a vigilant eye out for signs of distress, extreme exhaustion, or heat illness.
Immediate First Response
Provide on-the-spot aid for acute muscle cramps, minor abrasions, sprains, and dehydration before stationary medical teams arrive.
CPR & Emergency Resuscitation
Immediately initiate CPR/BLS in the event of a collapsed runner, deploy nearby mobile AED responders, and coordinate with race medical control.
Runner Encouragement & Safe Guidance
Act as a safety ambassador on the route, uplifting runners while advising those displaying concerning symptoms to seek medical attention.

Eligibility & Qualifications
We welcome licensed medical professionals as well as certified first aiders who possess active resuscitation qualifications and strong running fitness.
